The "Circulation" menu contains all the functions about Patrons, and the processes around the issues, returns, reservations of Items. A Patron is the entity or customer of the Library. The Patron may be a person or an institution to which Items can be borrowed.
The menu contains several "Process Groups" that groups to gether similar functions. A summary explanation of each function is included below. To find out more information on each function, click on the function name.
Maintenance
This group contains the processes used to enter, delete and maintain details. It has one primary process, which is the "Patron" screen. This screen provides several functions and enquiry screens related to each Patron member.
There exists many other maintenance screens in the Controls menu. (This menu contains configuration information that changes the way your system works.

Processing
This section contains all the processes that are normally run on a day to day basis. The idea is to group together the functions a Circulation Desk is likely to use in one group.
This process is the main Circulation Desk tool. From this process, a librarian can modify Patron records, Issue, Return and Reserve Items, receive payments for fines.

This is another menu that contains advanced functions such as "Bulk Deletions" that are useful, and should accessed only by "Adminitration" staff.
