Control Parameters
Settings that control the display and functionality of the Open Public Access Console for patron searching and reservations.
Allow Access to the Catalogue Card details: If this is set to Full, the OPAC search will display an icon (image) representative of the material type that links to another window to display the full catalogue information pertaining to the item. If set to No, this link will not appear and the user will only be provided with a Title, Author, Accession Number, Shelf Number and current Loan Status.
Allow Bibliography printing: Allows users to print bibliography information to local printer.
Allow Reservations: When set to Yes, an additional button will appear underneath the item information enabling Patrons to place a reservation for the selected item. Upon clicking the Reservation button, the patron will be prompted to enter their membership code and click Process.
Activate E-mail based Reservations?: When set to Yes, an additional button will appear underneath the item information enabling Patrons to place a reservation for the selected item. Upon clicking the Email Reservation button, an E-mail will be sent to the Library.
Allow the location details of an Item to be accessed: When set to Yes and multiple locations are contained within LMSi, details of location of item will be displayed.
